Now is Not the Time-For Several Reasons

Hello Reader,

Ken's Corner

Towards the end of last week I had some technical difficulties. I feel like I've been having those. Since the top of this year everyone I've encountered has asked me, what am I going to do next? I get that question less often these days but I still feel the pressure. The problem is that everything that I come up with just feels or seems like something I don't want to do. I may be giving up on my future in some capacity. What I want to do is not have to strive and that's what everything feels like. Whatever I come up with to do feels like some dance monkey dance performance and I don't have the will to keep dancing. I think where I am at is at a place where I'm having a difficult time being part of the world.

Here is some content to consider as you start your week (click the thumbnail to view):

To emphasize my perspective, let’s discuss more about music. That song “Shed a Tear” was probably written in the key of shedding a tear. I don’t read and write music but I can understand it enough as a creative vehicle.

On top of this I understand some of the unique challenges I face economically. At this time I am thinking about what my career is/will be and or what I want it to do consistently for the next 20-30+ years.

All the best,

Ken

Hello Reader, I want to recommit to this work. Over the last couple of weeks at least, I have been focused on money. That is a simplification so let me explain further. I had a revelation and that was that I live in the richest country ever, a country that was built off the backs of my ancestors and people who look like us. Then somewhere along the line I remembered that the living standard for humans across the entire planet is more humble than how Americans operate. All of us should...
