Picking Up Where We Left Off
Published 3 days ago • 4 min read
Hello Reader,
And just like that we're back. I hope you've all been well. There will be a spring break update in the following segment(s), but for now in setting the tone for the future, the second half of the year is upon us which in an interesting way means we'll be reflecting on milestones. That's kind of how things are panning out around here.
Recent Appearances-Kenneth Wyche Press
I started a book/press tour for "Get Your Mind Right" last year. I finished around the same time as spring break. In keeping a healthy distance between Kenneth the person and this brand, I don't always highlight non-specifically Life with Ken related information on this platform. On this occasion however, for those who desire, and as a way to promote my press landing page here are my two last appearances:
How Kenneth Wyche Transformed Rugged Self‑Discovery Into Mindset Mastery
Danielle Hutchinson sits down with Kenneth Wyche, award‑winning author and founder of the lifestyle brand Life with Ken. Wyche shares his journey of “rugged self‑discovery,” a transformation born from facing harsh realities rather than privilege, and how the pandemic became a catalyst for change.
In this powerful Season 4 episode of the Transformation Station Leadership Podcast, I'm (Adrienne Townsend Benton) joined by Kenneth Wyche to explore why mindset truly matters in leadership and life. We dive into how the way you think influences how you lead, how you respond under pressure, and how you move through challenges and opportunities.

Overall this year's spring break was rejuvenating. It was nice to be able to kick back and not succumb to some of the pressures can sometimes put on myself but am improving at. I'm not trying to manifest a KeKe Palmer encounter but I think one is coming down the pike; and if not we just happen to have some interesting things in common. She came on my radar in this way because we both released our books on the same day. I bring her up because I was watching one of her shorts and she mentioned how she feels as though what scares a person isn't what they aren't but rather what they could be.
She probably said it better but basically over this spring break I got to enjoy some good identity forming and fortifying activities. And when I think about the future it is a little scary to lean into and embrace the fullness of everything you are. I don't want to project feelings into that "abyss" for lack of a better word, but it can be exciting overall to claim the understanding that life is a gift and it is a blessing to be able to see as many years as possible on this earth and in that time enjoy and or learn to enjoy and dive deep into your lot, life, likes, and interests. Amor fati.

The bag is always nice especially when you don’t have one the size or as full as you would like, but bigger than getting to the bag is getting to yourself
When I saw Victor Wembanyama of the San Antonio Spurs doing his part on the court, not saying anything publicly until after game four of a series that only went five games-that he was tired from playing nearly 40 minutes each game for the last four finals games straight; following the Spurs difficult playoff win against OKC Thunder, the reigning camps at the time; I understood what was happening because it’s happened to me-specifically-here in central TX.
I cannot let you brothers run a muck with my emotions. I am happy to serve however I am meant to serve, but don’t be surprised if I can’t help you as much as you think I can or want me to.
In this video I give a masterclass on what desires are, how to find yours, and how to get them in your life.
Coming Up...
Here's what's on our agenda: Life with Ken is celebrating seven (7) years this month. Seven is a significant number so we will be properly acknowledging the occasion very soon. We will be releasing at least one review. I didn't do business reviews at first, but after some good experiences with them I was like why not, but now i'm not sure. I have a desire to build/run a business(es) and I thought that kind of transparency would be good for this brand; but i'm questioning it. You all will get some type of behind the scenes update of some kind sooner rather than later regardless. Other than that we have exciting summer and holiday seasons ahead. In addition to being part of this newsletter also join us on Substack and follow us on our soiclal media pages so you're always in the loop and have access to our life enhancing content.
Food for Thought
Repent from perpetuating purposeful inconveniences. This is an unnecessary bureaucratic activity and behavior that mainly only serves whatever is fractured in you. It makes some part of you feel better and or you may benefit in some other way when you put yourself and or others through some type of dramatic process. I'm done and you should be too, with giving your energy to people, places, and things that don't want to see better for themselves, let alone you-because how could they?
Have an amazing week and do A LOT MORE of what fulfills you WITHOUT compromising your morals.

Hello Reader, Yes, it's Tuesday. I hope your week is off to a great start! The end of this month is the end to a handful of things for me. Mainly and particularly it marks the end of the first part of this year for me with respect to Life with Ken, as we are going on spring break or semi-hiatus for May and June. Spring Break 2026 This year started out as a transitional period, I am still in that transition and at the moment we're going into a different phase. One of the main challenges has...
Hello, It's wild how two to three days can exacerbate into two to three weeks. I had a family member tell me, and it's kind of a common understanding, that keeping up with your responsibilities is easier for whatever that's worth, than having to catch up on your responsibilities. But, sometimes life happens and you end up playing catch up. That is where I continue to be at in this season and it's too much to fully unpack at the moment. Update from Ken Hello and welcome to the new Newsletter...
