Rested, Relaxed, and Ready

Hello Reader,

Spring Break Recap

We are back from spring break! The last two months have been delightfully refreshing. There are few better ways to prevent burnout than to stop and take a break. This year we took time for R&R and to make some improvements to the experience we offer. We've been promoting becoming a founding member as well because founding members on our Substack get continuous content year round, despite any time off we may take. All in all we're ready to continue providing value to you on a regular basis and growing our brand!

Personal and Professional Spring Cleaning Tips and Strategies

video preview

In this video I discuss 3 ways you can clean up and improve your interpersonal life for the better:

  1. Put People in the Proper Place in Your Life
  2. How to Avoid Regressive Pitfalls
  3. Being Ambitious and Operating with Clarity

A tragedy can be overcome. And it’s the overcoming of a tragedy that gives a tragedy a resolution.

I think that depending on who reads this book one of the paradigm-shifting takeaways will be, “What can I do within reason that can objectively improve the life of someone to some degree, that is in my sphere of influence, and or that I have an affinity towards?”

A brand is a left mark not a made mark. Give people what they expect of you to the point where they don’t want it from anyone else. Don’t craft your “product” on the spot, show up with your product go-to-market ready.

Encouragement for Your Week

This week I want to encourage you redistribute your resources. Be willing to change your processes and do things differently. It's okay that you've done things the same way for x period of time; I can empathize with the if it ain't broke don't fix it mentality, but you also need to make room for something called research and development. The same resources and energy that you put into doing something the same way can, especially if you've become efficient, be allocated towards discovering new ways of doing things that may prove themselves to be more beneficial. This is how you get better over time. Be willing to engage in this process.

We are in a period of optimization right now, so things will be continually changing at least for a little while longer. As we improve what we're doing we will continue to make an effort to help you improve what you're doing. Let's get better together. Have an excellent week!

All the best,

Ken

July 21, 2025 Life with Ken Weekly Newsletter Put Your Mind to Great Things, Newsletter update, Spotlight

Hello Reader, I've said this in a different context before, however, since publishing Get Your Mind Right i've experienced clarity like I haven't before. I want to get past this point, but right now I am still processing and figuring out how to process the reality that I was gaslit for a significant portion of my youth. I don't want to peel back those layers in this way but you may be able connect with is that outside of a disability, there is nothing wrong with you. People, places, and...

Hey Reader, Show up. Every day. At work, at home, with you family, for you kids, for yourself; show up. I admit its easier said than done and sometimes expectations are better than realty. The difference between you, the person you want to be, and the person who wants to be like you, is how often you show up and give 100% regardless of anything else. Ken's Takes and Commentary We've been in transition for about a month with respect to this newsletter. I've decided to "democratize" my takes...

Hey Reader, I don't know how often this happens but it happens often enough for me to talk about it. Every once and a while I have an existential crisis with respect to doing this work. I place a high expectation on myself because despite certain limitations I know I have the capacity and ability to excel. When I feel like i'm not excelling it makes me want to give up. I rather not try or stop trying than to only be able to achieve mediocrity. I know things take time and I should practice...
