Top of Mind

Hello Reader,

Don't forget to check us out on X (twitter) where I exclusively post my commentary on current events outside of dedicated content. We made this transition a couple of weeks ago and it's working well. There are some more logistics I want to work out but otherwise this is the direction we are on in this regard for the foreseeable future.

Last week we published our mid-year review for 2025. As Life with Ken grows as a business it's important for us to share that part of our journey as well. This way you can becoming more connected with our brand from that perspective and if you're interested in what it may take to build a business us being transparent in this way is a great way for you to grow and develop your own business aspirations. It's an important part of what we do right now, even if that means we have to create space to get it done. Here are a few of the key points discussed in the review:

  • Further website and experience updates on the horizon.

Encouragement For Your Week

This week I want to encourage you to do your own [dirty] work. I'm not implying that you or I have "dirty work," it's simply a common saying that might fire off certain synapses for you. More broadly, there are laborious tasks in life that come with the responsibility of being alive. In a world where AI agents are popping up all over the place and automation is just one the latest buzz words, it can be easy to put off or forget some of the work associated with producing anything of note. Don't neglect to proof read your work, double check your deliverables, participate in criticism as the giver and receiver, and make sure you follow through on what's within your purview. Doing the due diligence to make sure that something is right and or up to a certain standard will set you apart, increase your value, and make sure that your work is well received.

Thank you for reading this week's Newsletter be sure to share us with your network. You can get in contact with me by responding to this email directly or here.

I hope you have a great week!

All the best,

Ken

When you scale, or come to scale, or are at scale you are doing the most you can with the resources you have for a specific purpose. Essentially you are meeting demand when scaling is done right. When scaling is done wrong you are wasting resources. This is because scaling is meant to be accommodating. But if you have nothing to accommodate...

Hey Reader, Something on my mind that I may explore as content in the coming weeks, is how does one continue life after certain milestones? You're not a kid anymore now what? You're finally married and not single anymore now what? You have tenure at your dream job, now what? Where is the will to continue to live? People tend to say life is short which is a refrain that I don't like to use. That said, if you're blessed, you still get 75-120 years. That's a significant amount of time. What do...

Hello Reader, Spring Break Recap We are back from spring break! The last two months have been delightfully refreshing. There are few better ways to prevent burnout than to stop and take a break. This year we took time for R&R and to make some improvements to the experience we offer. We've been promoting becoming a founding member as well because founding members on our Substack get continuous content year round, despite any time off we may take. All in all we're ready to continue providing...
