Review "Get Your Mind Right"

My forthcoming non-fiction book "Get Your Mind Right" releases this November! The book is already starting to catch a little buzz and I want to keep that momentum going. I am publishing this book through my own publishing company, which means there are certain responsibilities that I must address. Getting this book out into the public is a big one of those responsibilities.

The best way this book gets exposure is if people like you read it and leave a review. Talking about this book with your friends, family, and co-workers will help it get the reach it needs to be traditionally successful on it's launch day. This matters because at that point it would be a domino effect. The more people hear about "Get Your Mind Right" the more they will want to buy and read it. the more that happens, the more I can invest in Life with Ken to get to the scale it needs to be to be profitable and for us to expand our offerings.

What I am Interested in this Week:

Here are some highlights for some news stories happening this week, none of them particularly interest me enough to do a deep dive, but you may find them interesting:

The U.S. Stock Market has plummeted. Last week Wednesday investors were all geared up for an interest rate cut at the Federal Reserve. A rate cut would mean money would be more affordable as the cost to borrow would be lower. Right now the rate is at 5.25-5.5%. The Federal Reserve decided not to cut rates citing that while the economy is going in the right direction with inflation down to around 2.5% there isn't enough data to be confident in where the country is. Unemployment is up past 4% and the U.S. had a weak jobs report in July. Investors, in a major over reaction from this and other world news, like the looming war between Iran and Israel, have decided to sell. the S&P500 is down over 40 points mimicking the down turn from the pandemic. Some analysts however, are saying buy the dip (not financial advise just reporting on publicly available information, do your own research and speak to your advisor).

Bangladesh in Chaos. The Prime Minister of Bangladesh, Hasina Sheikh has resigned from her position and fled her country. She did this after holding her position for 20 years because of mass protests. The high court in the country reinstated a rule setting a government hiring quota for individuals who are descendants of the 1971 war, where Bangladesh gained its independence from Pakistan. The country is currently under military rule after the PM fled and over 200 people died in a demonstration on Sunday. There are certainly parallels I could draw and maybe we'll revisit this story in the coming weeks. Click here to read an article on this story.

word of Encouragement

This week I want to encourage you in that troubles and hard times don't last. Life is a rollercoaster, there are ups and downs. In the stock market it's said that you take the stairs up and the elevator down. What's devastating about the down sides of life when they happen, is that it feels like you're losing or lost everything, or that you can't mitigate your loses and keep them from getting worse. Causing no harm is a valid approach if you find yourself in this circumstance. Don't abdicate responsibility but do your best to wait for and materialize an opportune scenario.

Have a positively consequential week this week! I am looking a new beneficial opportunity and I stimulate that outcome for myself and you, to manifest quickly.

All the best,

Ken

Hi Reader, A worthwhile way to take on decision making is to consider what decision will yield the most optimal future for you. The option that gets you closer to your compelling future, or the future that you dream about, is the one that you should take. It's okay to be cold and calculated when drawing this conclusion. Update from Ken I will be taking the month of September off! Work hard play harder. I am letting you know in advance that a good break for me is inbound. This will be time for...
