Hi Reader,

I feel the weightiness of this task today. Sometimes responsibility is earned and sometimes it's given.

Life with Ken on X

Follow us we are now on X!

Here is some back story: our mentors shared with us that a X (twitter) profile is something to be prayerful about, so until now we never had one. You can follow Ken's X account, and for the longest his account was the Life with Ken brand account.

Upon further consideration we have concluded to create a delineation between Kenneth Wyche the person and Life with Ken the brand. Nothing changes other than an expansion of creative liberty. Life with Ken is a lifestyle brand that focuses on helping you live more confidently, Kenneth Wyche is Ken, and we will continue to publish content that is relevant, informative, and familiar.

This represents the continued positive growth of Life with Ken as a brand because now we have an exclusive space on X, similar to our other social media accounts, where you can receive quality content easily and on demand! Ken will continue to feature Life with Ken content on his X account as well as commentary on a diverse rage of topics. Click here to follow Ken on X.

What I am Interested In this Week:

Chief's Won the Super Bowl against the 49ers 22 to 25 in overtime. I did not watch the game follow me on X for my thoughts on highlights.

"A sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory.”

On January 12, 2023 Robert Hur, a former United States Attorney for the District of Maryland, was appointed as special counsel to investigate the classified documents found at the Biden residence and at the University of Penn, on November 22, 2023. Last Monday the report came out. The report found that the evidence doesn't establish Biden's guilt beyond a reasonable doubt and that it would be hard to prove that Biden willfully intended to break the law.

The question was did Biden knowingly take classified documents from the white house during his term as Vice President? The special counsel was unsure if he did so knowingly, saying that he did take classified materials, and he may have shared some with a ghost writer for his memoir Promise me, Dad. However, he also in interviews they conducted came off as forgetful. The staggering line in the report was that Hur said a jury would likely think of Biden as a "A sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory.”

Everyone was offended. Biden did a press conference. Jill Biden has spoken out. Pundits are punditing, and Kamala Harris has spoken publicly on the topic. This is an interesting story to me because the backlash this report got reveals not only a weakness for Biden but for America as a whole. Both front running candidates for President of the United States are over 70 years old. What makes it worse for Biden is he appears his age as he leads the strongest nation on earth. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin Hospitalized Again

On January 1, 2024 Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin was hospitalized for prostate cancer for a week and a half. On Sunday he was taken to urgent care for an issue with his bladder. The doctors at Walter Reed say they don't know how long he will be hospitalized this time around. This is a relevant story because during his first hospitalization this was a national security story. It still is, but back then Austin didn't make an announcement of his hospitalization or tell anyone up the chain of command including President Joe Biden. This time he did take the appropriate steps however, as 6th in line for President and with 2.5 hot conflicts underway, having someone to articulate commands and directions is crucial. Word of Encouragement

This week I want to encourage you to take your time. Maybe 2024 or at least this season is all about going with the flow. At a job that I had once I was speaking with a prospect on the phone and I was working on finalizing a scheduled meeting with him. I needed some more information to solidify his buy in, but it was at the end of the work day. I spent the evening trying to get someone to help me with this prospect but everyone was gone for the day. Most things don't need to be done absolutely right here right now or nothing else asap. Be intentional, but also just enjoy the ride. And be okay with things not happening on your time table.

I enjoy sharing with you in this Newsletter, feel free to reach out by responding to this email or here. Subscribe to us on Substack and on our social media pages for more new content published daily!

Hi Reader, I hope you had a nice weekend and a chance to celebrate your mother for Mother's Day. Parents are one of life's obvious blessings. It's also important however, that you allow your own personality to develop and flourish; and it's even better when you have parents that aren't overbearing and are generally understanding and supportive of that process. Shout out to mothers both alive and no longer with us. And if you're a mother I hope you enjoyed your day and maybe got a nice bouquet...

Hi Reader, Every day is a blank canvas, use this week's worth of canvases to make a beautiful collage that you'll be able to reflect on with peace, happiness, and joy! House Keeping In the Weekly Roundup that we send out every Saturday there is usually always a link that says something to the effect of "click this link to read our previous Newsletters." Because that message is standard for every roundup we usually don't change it. What has happened is that link has accumulated a "link-trail,"...
