Put Your Mind to Great Things

Hello [FIRST NAME GOES HERE],

I've said this in a different context before, however, since publishing Get Your Mind Right i've experienced clarity like I haven't before. I want to get past this point, but right now I am still processing and figuring out how to process the reality that I was gaslit for a significant portion of my youth. I don't want to peel back those layers in this way but you may be able connect with is that outside of a disability, there is nothing wrong with you. People, places, and things may try to convince you otherwise, but give yourself enough fidelity and benefit of the doubt to stand firm in your self-concept.

Future of this Newsletter

We have successful transitioned to publishing news related content to mainly my personal X account and or specific articles if the story warrants it. This does several things, but two main things for the Life with Ken Newsletter. One, it reduces turnover time for the newsletter, and two, it creates an opportunity for us to curate more engaging newsletter content. Over the next few newsletters we will be testing some things to see what is replicable and fits with our purpose. As of right now i'm thinking maybe we can put mini games in the newsletter, but i'll see what I can come up with. Also, if you have any suggestions on what else we could include in the newsletter, let me know by responding to this email!

Spotlight

Here is some timely content you may find helpful in some way this week:

Conquer your Fears to Achieve Success

video preview

Those difficulties you face in relation to your success are in part what makes your success valuable.

The more exposed you become to something the better your competencies and therefore judgement becomes. But, regardless of how competent or incompetent you may feel at any given moment, when the moment comes, you must make a decision with whatever resources you have.

Encouragement for Your week

This week I encourage you to innovate. Take your boldness to a new level and do things differently. If something is not working for you this week, change it. If you can optimize your performance in some way consider doing so. You're better off being efficient and working in a way that works best for you, than being stagnant because you are deploying someone else's process. Not everything that is replicable is scalable. Life is unique so there is no reason why you shouldn't be, within reason, also.

Follow us on your favorite social media to stay up to date with content we publish throughout this week. You can get in contact with me by responding directly to this email or by clicking here.

Have a fantastic week!

All the best,

Ken

Hello Reader, Sometimes you leave things and sometimes things leave you. Mental, emotional, and material growth are mutually exclusive. Labor Day In recognition of Labor Day there will be no new content published the week of August 31-September 6, 2025. A reminder will be sent next week. Ken's Corner Among the things on my mind today and this week, so far, is the idea of if you love something you should let it go. It's a nice sounding philosophy but what are it's implications and is something...

Hello Reader, Over the weekend I learned about a concept that disturbed me immensely. That concept is "memetic desires." Memetic desires refers to a person's inability to individuate. A memetic desire is when a person takes on the desires of someone else. For example, let's say you have a goal or desire to travel and you tell someone or someone in your sphere of influence catches wind of your desire. all of a sudden that person espouses how they want to travel and go different places, even...

Hello Reader, I apologize for no roundup for last week and for this newsletter coming later in the day. Last week was a bit of a drag and by the time the weekend came not only was I still working on some content, I also had a meeting that I had to go to; which by the time it ended suggested to me that the content I was producing wouldn't have been done justice if I just rushed through it. I will highlight some content in the spotlight section, but first I want to unpack the significance of...
